“Man is a long time coming.
Man will yet win.
Brother may yet line up with brother:
This old anvil laughs at many broken hammers.
There are men who can’t be bought.”
Carl Sandburg, poet, from “The People Will Live On” (1936)

One particular person came to mind but I try to avoid being too literal when I post. (Sometimes I fail at that btw). I prefer to let the quote be more vague so that each individual reader can relate to it from their own perspective. When I attach the category “Quotes for Now” I am attempting to let the reader know it is relevant to something happening at the moment. Be well! – Douglas
