“Imagine a city where graffiti wasn’t illegal, a city where everybody could draw whatever they liked. Where every street was awash with a million colours and little phrases. Where standing at a bus stop was never boring. A city that felt like a party where everyone was invited, not just the estate agents and barons of big business.”
– Banksy, Graffiti Artist, English, UK, painter, film maker
imagine…wouldn’t it be lovely?

You know at first when I read this I had to do a double take. I felt some graffiti was vandalism. And perhaps some is. But for the first time, I had a different perspective when I understood where this artist was coming from – as he felt advertising splashed in our faces at every turn – for the turn of a profit – was just as vandalizing to our minds. And so I had to share this one to challenge people to think, perhaps, a little differently about this form of art!
